Caring
At our previous assessment we rated the practice as good for the caring domain. At this assessment the practice has been rated as good. We found people were treated with kindness and compassion. Staff protected their privacy and dignity. They treated them as individuals and supported their preferences. People had choice in their care and treatment. The service supported staff wellbeing.

Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
Arrangements were in place to promote patients’ privacy. National GP Patient Survey data reflected people felt listened to and were treated with kindness. 94% of patients said the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was good at listening to them during their last general practice appointment. This was above the local average of 88% and national average of 87%.
Through give feedback on care submissions made to CQC, we received positive feedback from patients regarding how positive and supportive staff were. They said things such as “doctors make time to listen and explain what they are doing” and “staff are friendly and understanding.”
