Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. We were told, “Whilst a small surgery, it is immaculately presented with clean, airy treatment rooms. During my teeth whitening service, I was able to have my 3D moulds taken in house, using their advance technology equipment. I was very happy with the outcome.”

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity and showed compassion. Comments included, “As a nervous patient, the dentist is both empathetic and reassuring; always talking through what they are doing and explaining their work. It is fantastic to see them continually furthering their craft and skill, they are expert in Dental implants and leads teaching others. You know you are in very professional, safe and skilled hands.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous and considerate. We were told, “The front office staff are friendly and welcoming. They are proactive and accommodating when enquiring or booking treatments and will always try to work around the patient's demands and needs.”

Patients felt they were treated as individuals and their personal and cultural needs were respected. We were told, “The dentist is clearly highly regarded as a practitioner, they clearly illustrated what was involved with making and constructing my teeth moulds and the aftercare was put in place to ensure I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend this practice.”

Patient surveys, online comments and feedback we reviewed provided a wholly positive level of satisfaction with the care and treatment received at the practice. We noted over 350 comments on one online system. These were often responded to by the practice.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Comments included, “Great customer service from both reception, dentists and nurses. Dentist made me feel super comfortable and explained in depth my treatment and after care when at home. The surgery was very clean and tidy and was a delight to step into.”

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles and their wellbeing was supported. Staff consistently described how they worked well as a team and how their personal growth was encouraged.
