Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. “Very convenient, staff very kind and empathetic, made me feel very comfortable.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We reviewed the results of a patient survey. Of the 9 responses received, all respondents strongly agreed that they were treated with dignity and respect and had confidence in the knowledge and abilities of the dentists and staff.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported. “I feel respected and valued as a member of the team. My work is appreciated, and support is available when needed. There is a positive and respectful working environment.”
