Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We reviewed patient feedback which had been collected by the practice. Comments included, “Very attentive staff, understand the urgency and fixed my broken teeth in no time. Highly recommended.” And “I had an incredible experience here! The team took me in so quickly when I needed urgent help. [The practice manager] at the front desk was so polite, kind, and positive—they instantly made me feel comfortable. [The dentist] was amazing as well, reacting fast and even skipping their lunch just to make sure I was taken care of. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to go above and beyond truly stand out. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking for exceptional care and a genuinely compassionate team.”

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
