Our view of the service

Farjo Hair Institute is operated by Advanced Hair Technology Limited. Services are offered to privately funded patients. We carried out an unannounced responsive on-site inspection of surgery services on 30 July 2025. We completed further assessment work offsite following this. We reviewed all quality statements for the safe, effective, caring, responsive and well led key questions.

The overall hospital rating is outstanding.

Farjo Hair Institute was extremely well-led. The doctors and registered manager were positive role models who were well respected amongst peers and external professionals. Staff were especially dedicated to providing the best possible care to enable people to achieve positive outcomes. There was a strong focus on continuous learning and improvement. The provider invested in staff so they could develop and take on new challenges.

Individual risk assessments were completed to help ensure people’s safety. There were enough staff deployed to meet people’s needs. New staff were recruited safely and people using the service experienced excellent outcomes.

People's experience of this service

People told us they felt safe and took an active role in decisions about their care and treatment. They said staff treated them with compassion, kindness, and respect, and supported their privacy and dignity. We saw staff listened to their preferences and included them in personalised care plans.

They said staff coordinated care well, which helped avoid delays and reduced the need to repeat information. People told us they received clear and timely information in formats they could understand, and that alternatives were available when needed.

Feedback from people using the service was overwhelmingly positive. They praised staff for being kind, thorough, and responsive. People said staff acted quickly when needed and made them feel listened to and valued.
