Our view of the service

Date of assessment: 2 July to 8 July 2026

Your Quality Care Services Limited (East Grinstead) is a domiciliary care service providing a regulated activity of personal care. The service was providing care and support to people in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of the inspection the service was supporting 15 people who were receiving personal care.

We found 1 breach of regulation in relation to good governance. The provider’s governance framework had not always been used effectively. The provider did not work in accordance with their policies or the legislation in relation to the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA), which principles were not always followed.

We asked the provider for an action plan in response to the shortfalls found at this inspection.

Staff felt supported and told us they liked their work. People told us they were able to approach the provider and felt listened to. Staff were kind and caring, taking into consideration people’s individuality. People were supported by a consistent staff team which supported continuity of care.Relatives felt involved in people’s care.

People's experience of this service

We received positive feedback from people and relatives who told us they were happy with the care and support provided by the service. Comments included, “We do feel our loved one is safe receiving care from Your Quality Care. [Person] feels listened to and well looked after, and we, the family, can relax knowing [person] is in good hands”, “I think they do a very good job”, and “They’re very good.” While people expressed general satisfaction with their care and treatment, our assessment found elements of governance did not meet the expected standards.
