Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
The service had arrangements to promote people’s privacy. The service performed lower than the national average in the results of the 2026 National GP Patient Survey. The National GP Patient Survey 2026 showed that 74% of healthcare professionals they saw or spoke to was good at treating the patient with care and concern during their last general appointment was below the national average of 86%. The practice continued to monitor patient feedback through Friends and Family Test and promoting effective communication skills and encouraging staff to actively listen to patient’s concerns. Internal patient survey results were positive. Feedback showed that patients felt they were treated with kindness, compassion and respect by staff. Patients told the practice they were listened to, involved in decisions about their care and treated with dignity during consultations. The practice reviewed patient feedback regularly and used the results to monitor the quality of care provided.
During the inspection, we observed two patient interactions. Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion and maintained their privacy and dignity throughout.
