Our view of the service
Overall service commentary
Date of Assessment: 2 September 2025 to 15 September 2025. North Trafford Group Practice is made up of 2 GP practices and delivers service to 15,234 patients under a contract held with NHS England. The main site is at Chester Road Surgery 864 – 866 Chester Road, Stretford. The branch site is at Seymour Grove Surgery, 70 Seymour Grove, Old Trafford. The National General Practice Profiles states that the population is made up of 55% White, 25% Asian, 10% Black and 10% Mixed race and others. Information published by Office for Health Improvement and Disparities shows that deprivation within the practice population group is in the 4 decile (4 of 10). The lower the decile, the more deprived the practice population is relative to others. This assessment considered the demographics of the people using the service, the context the service was working within and how this impacted service delivery. People's experience of this service
People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Minutes of meetings from PPG meetings were shared which showed discussions around how to improve the number of responses to GP Patient Survey.
