Kindness, compassion and dignity
The practice always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
The practice had arrangements to promote people’s privacy. Appropriately trained staff were available to provide a chaperone service when required and this service was promoted in waiting areas and clinical rooms.
Results from the NHS Friends and Family Test in February 2026 showed that 95% of respondents said that their overall experience of their last GP practice appointment was good or very good. Among the 401 responses were descriptions of staff being “kind, helpful and efficient” and in other feedback we received, there was similar compliments for clinical and reception staff.
During our onsite visit, we observed staff interacting with people in a friendly and considerate manner. Staff we spoke with told us about their shared passion for providing high quality, person-centred care that meets the needs of each individual.
