Caring
We looked for evidence the service involved people and treated them with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. At our last inspection, we rated this key question as good. At this assessment, the rating remains the same.

Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service had arrangements to promote people’s privacy with curtains in each consultation room and access to a private room if required. Observation of staff including during staff interviews, indicated that staff were caring, compassionate and treated people with dignity and respect. Staff displayed understanding and a non-judgemental attitude towards people.
The service performed in line with both local and national averages in the results of the National GP Patient Survey 2026. For example, 87%of respondents felt the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was good at listening to them during their last general practice appointment (local result:89%, national result:87%). Results also stated 82%felt the healthcare professional they saw or spoke to was good at treating them with care and concern during their last general practice appointment (local result:87%, national result:86%).
The provider shared feedback from the NHS Friends and Family Test, which showed high levels of patient satisfaction with the service. Patients gave CQC positive feedback about many aspects of their experiences, including staff kindness, how well staff listened to them, and the quality of care they received. Patients we spoke to during the site visit also shared similar views.
