We looked for evidence the service involved people and treated them with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. At our last assessment, we rated this key question as good. At this assessment, the rating remains the same.

Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
The service performed better than the national average in the results of the 2026 National GP Patient Survey. This showed people felt listened to and felt they were treated with kindness. For example, 98% of respondents to the survey felt the healthcare professional at their last appointment was good at treating them with care and concern, compared to a national average of 86%.
Staff consistently described a caring culture focused on patient wellbeing. Staff told us clinicians went out of their way to support and follow up patients and that patient care was a source of pride within the practice. The practice had measures in place to maintain privacy and dignity, including access to private rooms for confidential discussions, secure storage of records, confidentiality agreements and data protection training was completed by staff.
Patients we spoke with on the day told us that the practice was very caring and supportive. We received 5 comments from patients who described the service as excellent and responsive to patient’s needs.
