Kindness, compassion and dignity

Score: 3

The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.

The service had arrangements to promote people’s privacy. The service performed better than the national average in the results of the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. This showed most people were satisfied with the service. For example, 87% described their overall experience of this service as good compared to 73% locally and 75% nationally.

We noted various feedback methods at the service including the Family Friends Test survey which largely highlighted positive results. There were 4,964 Friends and Family Test responses received between April 2024 and March 2026, with 97.7% of all responses being positive, only 1% being ‘Poor’ or ‘Very Poor’, and monthly positivity remained between 95.6% and 100% across the two-year period. Themes and trends had been identified by the service, and these had been considered within the service’s development plan.
