People's experience of this service
Patients were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed patients were satisfied with services. There was an active patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of patients using the service. Representatives from the PPG described how managers made positive changes because of feedback, for example shortening the outgoing phone message as it was long. We reviewed results from the friends and family test (a feedback tool for patients using NHS services, asking them to rate their overall experience). Most responses were positive “Excellent nurses and doctors” “nurses and doctors give excellent balanced advice”; “I am very happy”. “Where to wait was a little confusing so signage at reception could be clearer”. The practice manager reviewed the response monthly and shared with staff.
