Kindness, compassion and dignity

The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff always treated colleagues with kindness and respect.

The practice had arrangements to promote people’s privacy. They performed better than both local and national averages in the results of the 2025 National GP Patient Survey. This showed people felt listened to and felt they were treated with kindness. For example, 96% of respondents to the survey felt the healthcare professional at their last appointment was good at treating them with care and concern, compared to the local and national average of 86%. The percentage of respondents who responded positively to the overall experience of their GP practice was 94%, compared to the local average of 77% and the national average of 75%. During our site visit we witnessed staff interacting with patients in a friendly and supportive manner. Patients we spoke with and who submitted feedback described staff as giving exceptional care, excellent, being very caring and understanding and reassuring.
