People's experience of this service
People were positive about the quality of their care and treatment. Recent survey results, including from the National GP Patient Survey and the NHS Friends and Family Test, showed people were satisfied with services. There was a patient participation group (PPG) who represented the views of people using the service. Representatives from the PPG described the service as being receptive to new ideas, for example, each service had access to an email mailbox, enabling people to provide feedback directly to the PPG. Feedback from people who used the service highlighted their overall experience with the service being excellent, in particular, the professionalism and efficiency of the reception staff and doctors. There was feedback from people which highlighted challenges booking appointments and accessing services. The service recognised this as a concern from people and were in the process of introducing a new appointment system with the aim to improve access for people.
