We found this practice was providing well led care in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance.

At the focused follow-up inspection on 7 October 2025, we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulations.

Hazardous substances were clearly labelled and stored safely.

A sharps risk assessment had been carried out and sharps injury action notices included the contact details of occupational health agencies.

An electrical installation condition test was carried out on 23 May 2025. The result of this was satisfactory.

A fire risk assessment had been carried out by a person who could demonstrate the competency to do so, and the day-to-day management of fire safety was effective.

The practice had arrangements to ensure the safety of the X-ray equipment, and the required radiation protection information was available.

Staff could access emergency equipment and medicines that were checked in line with national guidance.

The practice implemented an effective recruitment procedure which ensured that appropriate checks were completed prior to new staff commencing employment at the practice.

The practice ensured staff training, including continuing professional development, was up-to-date and reviewed at the required intervals.

Cleaning schedules were maintained and evidence confirmed that staff had oversight of cleaning standards.

Open local anaesthetic cartridges were stored appropriately.

The most recent legionella risk assessment action plan was completed in full.

The practice was able to demonstrate that that the actions resulting from the most recent disability access audit had been completed. Actions included the provision of a portable induction (hearing) loop, and adjustments were in place for disabled people who wished to use the accessible toilet.
