Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients. “The team consistently goes above and beyond to support their patients - nothing is ever too much trouble. They take the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and make sure you feel at ease throughout your visit. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism really set them apart.”

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. “The entire team works together to create a positive experience, and their dedication to delivering high-quality care is evident in every interaction.”

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. “[The dentist’s] thorough, caring, and patient-centred approach gives confidence and reassurance, ensuring patients feel listened to, respected, and fully informed.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
