People and relatives told us they felt well supported by staff who were kind and caring. Their comments included, "I have a good relationship with our carers and I talk to them if there are any small things" and "My carers help me a lot, I’ve always been independent and they know that too and help me."

Staff told us they knew people well and respected their preferences. The registered manager demonstrated a good understanding of people's needs and told us care was planned and delivered around people’s individualised needs.

The home had processes to ensure care records were person centred and relevant to people’s individual needs.
