Our view of the service
We carried out this announced on-site inspection on 21 January 2026.
We found the practice had not met all regulations.
The practice had ineffective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control, the management of medical emergencies, radiation safety, management of Legionella, fire safety, and sharps safety.
Recruitment procedures did not reflect current legislation. There was ineffective leadership and the service lacked a culture of continuous improvement. Care and treatment was not provided in line with current guidance and staff did not manage medicines in line with current guidance.
However, staff working at the practice were qualified and were registered with the General Dental Council (GDC). They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
Implant and Aesthetic Center Limited is in the London Borough of Camden and provides private dental care and treatment for adults and children. The practice provides general dentistry and dental implants either at the London location, or patients can choose to have implant placement at the service’s partner clinic in Budapest, Hungary.
There was step-free access to the practice through the use of a removable ramp, and car parking spaces were available near the practice.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, we were told there was a total of 7 staff: the principal specialist oral surgeon, 2 dentists, 1 receptionist, 1 treatment co-ordinator and 2 administrators. The practice worked closely with a partner company within the UK, who referred potential patients to the service and organised logistics for those patients who chose to have treatment in Hungary. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including the principal specialist oral surgeon, 1 dentist, 1 agency dental nurse, 1 receptionist and 1 administrator. We also spoke to the director of the partner company who was present on the day of our inspection.
The provider was not complying with Regulation 12, Safe care and treatment and Regulation 17, Good governance.
Full details of the regulations the provider was not meeting are within the inspection report.
In instances where CQC has begun a process of regulatory action, we may publish this information on our website after any representations and/or appeals have been concluded, if the action has been taken forward.
People's experience of this service
On the day of our inspection, we spoke with and saw patient feedback from 5 patients. Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. One patient told us, “It is easy to speak to someone, they always reply quickly to my emails.”
Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care. One patient told us, “The dentist has gone through all of my options, and I had time to make my mind up on what I wanted to do. They do not pressure you into making a decision.”
