Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments we viewed included, ‘I’ve always been treated with respect and staff and dentist are really friendly.’

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. One comment read, ‘I am petrified of dentist’s but (clinician) put me at ease. (Clinician) is so gentle, definitely recommend to people who are scared of the dentist. All of the reception staff and assistants are polite and friendly.’

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey, which indicated a high level of satisfaction with the care and treatment received at Wright Dental Care.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
