Our view of the service
Homecare Alliance Ltd is a domiciliary homecare agency, providing care to people in the local community in their own homes.
This was a comprehensive assessment carried out due to the time since our last inspection. The assessment took place between 30 June 2026 and 4 September 2026. The assessment included a 1 day on site visit and remote evidence gathering.
We found the service supported people with well trained and consistent members of staff. Staff knew people and their needs well. Care plans were person centred and promoted people’s independence.
The service had clear policies and procedures in place to safeguard people as well as to ensure safe staff recruitment and wellbeing.
Feedback was sought by the service and responded to with outcomes shared with people. Complaints and incidents were clearly recorded with actions and learning followed through.
Partner agencies in health and social care told us the service engaged with them well and shared appropriate information to ensure people received optimal care and treatment.
People's experience of this service
People told us they felt safe with the service. People were particularly pleased they saw the same regular carers, this ensured familiarity and consistency in care. It also meant people’s individual preferences and needs were known and met.
People felt the staff they saw were trained to carry out their roles and they were able to openly raise any concerns or feedback.
People told us care was delivered with dignity and respect, with consent sought appropriately.
Care planning was carried out collaboratively involving people as well as any relevant family/friends and partner agencies.
Overall people were happy with the service provided. A person told us, “I’ve been with a lot of care agencies, but this is one of the best I’ve been with. They are really good.”
