Our view of the service
Date of assessment 18 November 2025 to 8 December 2025. Shared Lives schemes recruit and support carers who provide care and support to people in the carer’s own home.
We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
People were supported to pursue their goals and live meaningful lives. People and shared lives carers told us they could raise concerns, and staff actively listened to them. The provider ensured people had choice and control over their lives. Staff had a focus on people’s quality of life and support was person centred. The provider promoted people’s rights, choices and independence.
