Our view of the service

Date of assessment: 19 May 2026

Rosemont Care Limited provides domiciliary care to people in their own homes. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided.

We undertook an announced inspection visit to the service on the 19 May 2026. We have undertaken a comprehensive inspection which means we have reviewed all the quality statements. As a result of this inspection, we have rated the service as good for safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led and good overall.

We spoke with people who used the service, their relatives, and staff to seek their views about the service.

The service demonstrated effective safeguarding systems, ensuring people were protected from the risk of abuse. Staff were provided with clear guidance on recognising and reporting safeguarding concerns, and robust recruitment procedures ensured staff suitability.

Care delivery was person-centred, with people’s equality characteristics assessed and supported appropriately. Staff promoted independence, respected privacy and dignity, and developed positive relationships with those they supported. People had maximum choice and control, with care delivered in the least restrictive manner and in their best interests.

Staff were knowledgeable and responsive to people’s needs, including safe support with medicines and adherence to infection prevention and control procedures. Staffing levels were well managed, ensuring continuity and consistency of care.

Governance systems were effective, with regular audits and quality assurance processes in place to monitor performance and identify improvements. Feedback from people and their relatives was actively sought and used to enhance service delivery.

The management team was viewed positively, fostering a supportive and open culture. Staff reported feeling supported. The registered manager worked collaboratively with health and social care professionals to ensure coordinated, effective care.
