Governance, management and sustainability
At the inspection on 28 January 2026 we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation.
Improvements had been made to the monitoring and management of risks, including fire risk and legionella risks. New fire and legionella risk assessment had been undertaken by competent persons and the provider was acting upon the findings of them.
The provider now had appropriate systems for periodic testing and servicing of the fire alarm system and emergency lighting. We saw that these checks were carried out on a weekly basis.
There were effective systems to monitor the recruitment process and checks undertaken. For example, we saw that checks on employees right to work had been undertaken. The provider had also had systems to ensure conduct in previous employment (references) would be obtained prior to people being employed.
