We were shown the systems in place to obtain patient feedback. This included online reviews and post-appointment satisfaction surveys sent via email or phone. We saw that feedback was positive and staff were open to making changes as necessary.

Patient comments included “very welcoming and clean”, “amazing dentist, goes above and beyond”, “always make you feel at ease”, “very patient”, “caring and kind”.

We observed positive interactions between staff and patients on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and talked with warmth and compassion about patient care.

Staff were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
