Governance, management and sustainability

The provider had clear responsibilities, roles and systems of accountability. They used these to manage and deliver good quality, sustainable care, treatment and support. They acted on the best information about risk, performance and outcomes, and shared this securely with others when appropriate. The provider did not consistently have robust governance systems in place, in relation to oversight of some areas of the service. However, to mitigate this, the Registered Manager had consistent presence within people’s homes and delivered care themselves, to ensure a level of oversight of aspects such as medications.
