Kindness, compassion and dignity
The service always treated people with kindness, empathy and compassion and respected their privacy and dignity. Staff treated colleagues from other organisations with kindness and respect.
People we spoke with during our assessment told us they felt staff listened to them and treated them with kindness. People also responded positively about their overall experience of the service.
Published NHS Friends and family test feedback results for June 2026 showed 89% people responded positively about their overall experience of service. Documented results reviewed during onsite assessment were also positive with people reporting that staff were helpful and caring.
Data from the 2025 National GP Patient Survey showed that 86% of respondents stated that during their last appointment, the healthcare professional was good or very good at treating them with care and concern. This was in line with the national average of 86%. However, data from the National GP Patient Survey 2026, which was published following our on-site assessment, showed that the positive response to this question had fallen to 79% which was below the national average of 86%. Following our on-site assessment the service told us, they were reviewing the results from the 2026 National GP Patient Survey and would actively identify and address any areas for improvement.
A care home supported by the service shared feedback as part of our assessment. They said that the doctor was readily available to discuss concerns with residents and their families.
