We assessed four quality statements. There was a positive learning safety culture where events were investigated, and learning was embedded to promote good practice. The service had enough staff with the right qualifications, skills, training and experience to keep people safe. All staff had completed safeguarding training on how to recognise and report abuse and they knew how to apply this training. The service had suitable and well-maintained equipment. Staff kept detailed records of patients’ care. Records were clear, up-to-date and easily accessible. Staff recognised incidents and reported them appropriately. Managers investigated incidents and shared lessons learned with staff. Staff worked with NHS partners to establish and maintain safe systems of care, in which safety was managed, monitored and assured.
