Kindness, compassion and dignity
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.
Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. One patient said, “Had back tooth extracted today, swift painless procedure dentist and his nurse were lovely and helped me not to feel nervous.“
Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. Patients said, “Amazing service, kind and friendly staff would definitely recommend this dentist,” and “We have been seeing (dentist) for many years, he’s always very considerate and efficient and goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are well looked after. Before I went to him I was so scared as I’d had a very bad experience with my previous dentist, I explained to (dentist) what had happened and he was so caring and put my mind at ease immediately. All the staff at reception are so lovely and especially (receptionist) and (receptionist). We highly recommend this practice. If we could give it more than 5 stars, we would.”
Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.
We were provided with the results of a patient survey undertaken between 1 – 31 January 2025. We saw that patients described the practice as friendly reliable and high quality, 92% of respondents were likely to recommend the practice to others. We saw that there was a suggestions box was available and a comments book was available for completion at the reception desk. Patients were also able to complete the NHS Friends and Family Test.
People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. However, we saw that there was a glass vision panel in each treatment room door. We were told that screening would be put in place to protect privacy and dignity as soon as possible.
Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
