Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

We saw that staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to all patients.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. One patient commented, “nice staff, very friendly.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey. The practice was completing quarterly patient satisfaction surveys and monthly Friends and Family Test (FFT). In the 4 months of FFT responses that we reviewed, 100% of respondents rated the practice as either good or very good.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
