There was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance.
Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our inspection, could access care, support and treatment when required.

People's experience of this service
Prior to our inspection, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 4 patients. On the day of our inspection, we saw patient feedback from a further 12 patients, who had left online reviews within the last 12-months.
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.
Comments included, “The dentist was so caring and considerate. I'm very grateful for the care I received”, “Very professional and caring practice. I have been a patient there for years and they have always treated me amazingly”, “It has a reception well manned by staff who seem happy and enthusiastic about their jobs, who answer the phone quickly so that appointments are easy to make and who seem genuinely pleased to see you. You're invariably seen on time in a spotless surgery with modern equipment. A skilful dental hygienist provides effective preventative dental care” and “All have been clearly explained. I've hardly felt the anaesthetic being administered and all the procedures completed have been undertaken professionally, painlessly, courteously and without complication. This practice sets a good example of how dental care should be provided.”
Patients commented positively about the standards of cleanliness. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Patients told us they were given clear information to help them make an informed choice about their treatment and any associated costs. They were involved in decisions about their care.
Patients told us that when they were prescribed medicines, sufficient information was given. Patients told us that they were supported to maintain their oral health and were provided with appropriate information and resources. The practice shared patient feedback with the team. We were told this was reviewed and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.
