We obtained feedback from 15 patients.

Ten out of 15 patients told us they knew how to access emergency dental treatment when the practice was closed.

Fourteen out of 15 patients told us they knew how to complain if they had an issue.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Improvement should be made to ensure the privacy of patients who used the ground floor surgeries was protected by obscuring the glass panels on the treatment rooms doors. We have since received evidence to confirm this shortfall has been addressed.

We were provided with a patient survey which echoed the feedback we received on the day of our visit.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
