Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

We reviewed feedback from patients obtained by the practice as well as patients who responded to our feedback questionnaires. Feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included, “always friendly and professional”, the dentist is great”, “reception team always friendly”.

Patients responded positively that they were able to access an appointment when they needed one, and that staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. Responses also told us that patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were shown the systems in place to obtain patient feedback. This included online reviews, in-house patient satisfaction surveys and the NHS Friends and Family Test. We saw that feedback was positive and staff were open to making changes as necessary.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
