Staff told us that they sought feedback from the person and planned activities based on what they wanted to do. This had included daily outings, swimming and horse riding. Staff said the person's care was completely tailored by them, including when they had appointments. They gave an example of how the person would choose their own injection site during vaccinations, and would only support with communication if required. This allowed the person to speak for themselves.

A relative told us that staff regularly sought feedback from the person about their care, mainly during daily conversations. The relative said there had also been review meetings with other professionals. The relative told us the person was completely in control of their support and activities they did each day. This included staff supporting the person to lead during their medical appointments.

Feedback was regularly sought to ensure the person's wants and wishes were being met and they were happy with the support they received. The person's care plan was regularly reviewed to ensure it was up to date and accurate.
