Kindness, compassion and dignity
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. We were told, “Both the dentist and his nurse are so kind and caring. We did not feel rushed during our appointment and everything was explained to us. They took care to reassure us throughout the treatment. We could see that there is a fantastic working relationship between them and their humorous conversation during our visit showed how well they work together and put us at ease. I regularly recommend them to others.”
Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity and showed compassion. Comments included, “Seen on time by very friendly receptionist followed by dentist and hygienist. All gave me upmost care and respect.”
Patients said staff were professional, courteous and considerate. We were told, ” My dentist and his nurse are absolutely amazing. I enjoy coming to my 6 monthly checks. It's like visiting old friends. They remember details about what my family and I are up to and genuinely care.”
Patients felt they were treated as individuals and their personal and cultural needs were respected. Comments included, “We have always been very happy with the service care and advice we have received. In particular they were exceptional with my husband’s dental health while undergoing chemotherapy” and “The hygienist who was both gentle and informative, encouraging me to use interdental brushes. They are very calm so would be excellent with nervous patients.”
Patient surveys, online comments and feedback we reviewed provided a wholly positive level of satisfaction with the care and treatment received at the practice. These were often responded to by the practice.
People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. We were told, “I have recommended Park House to a number of friends and will continue to do so. The reception staff must have a mention. You can always get through on the phone. You're dealt with quickly and efficiently. Well done all.”
Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles and their wellbeing was supported. Staff consistently described how they worked well as a team and how their personal development was encouraged.
