Our view of the service

One Care Ltd is a domiciliary care agency registered to provide personal care. At the time of our inspection the service provided care and support to 145 people with a range of needs and disabilities including dementia and other conditions associated with ageing, people with a learning disability, autistic people and mental health needs.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) only assesses support provided to people who receive the regulated activity personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided.

We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. The service met the requirements of the ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance and promoted people’s rights, independence and equality.
