We found this practice was providing caring services in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance.

Kindness, compassion and dignity
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.
Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to all patients.
Patients said staff were professional, courteous and considerate. Comments included, “My recent dental hygienist visit was a delight. For someone that has had years of dental trauma and has crippling anxiety when visiting the dentist, the staff are incredibly relaxing and comforting while maintaining their professionalism and a high level of service. I have never had an issue with any member of staff at this dentist and would never wish to change where I go.”
Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected. Comments included, “(Clinician) and the team have provided excellent care for my son who has a learning disability. They are friendly, compassionate and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.”
We were provided with a patient survey which indicated a high level of satisfaction with the care and treatment received at Finedon Dental Surgery.
People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
