We found this practice was providing well led care in accordance with the relevant regulations. The provider made improvements in relation to the regulatory breach we found at our inspection on 4 July 2025.

At the inspection on 24 April 2026, we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation.

Improvements had been made to the systems and processes to assess, monitor and mitigate the risks relating to the health, safety and welfare of service users and others who may be at risk. In particular:

Improvements had been made to the governance systems to ensure where fire and Legionella risk assessments were carried out by the landlord, assurances were obtained as to the completion of any resulting actions. The practice manager attended regular meetings to obtain assurances and updates in relation to the schedule and outcomes from risk assessments. Since our last inspection a new Legionella risk assessment had been carried out, which demonstrated that the management of Legionella was effective. The practice carried our regular water sampling tests as an additional assurance.

The governance systems for oversight in respect of servicing and maintenance for fire safety equipment had been strengthened. The practice now had access to logs and maintenance schedules for safety and maintenance checks for fire detection equipment. The practice manager carried out regular fire evacuation drills for the practice.

A satisfactory fixed wiring electrical test was carried out on 7 January 2026.

Improvements had been made to the arrangements to monitor infection control procedures and to ensure that audits of these were completed accurately. Audits were reviewed to ensure they were completed accurately, and any actions identified rectified promptly.

The arrangements to ensure that dental records were complete regarding patient assessments and treatment provided had been reviewed and strengthened. Following our inspection in July 2025 there was improved oversight from the clinical director to ensure that clinical records and audits were completed consistently, and any areas for improvement identified were actioned promptly.

Additionally, improvements were made to the systems and recording regarding hazardous substances. Clear and detailed risk assessments and other relevant information about the safe use, handling and disposal of hazardous substances was available for staff.
