Our view of the service

Clovecare Limited provides personal care support to people in their own homes. At the time of our assessment they were supporting 38 people, mainly older people some of whom were living with dementia. Staff provided safe care which was responsive to people’s needs. People were supported by caring care workers who took the time to get to know them and understand how they liked care and support to be delivered. People were supported by a consistent team of care workers. At the time of our assessment some people’s care records did not include details of the risks to their safety and how they were to be supported to minimise those risks. The registered manager took prompt action to address this concern and used their knowledge and knowledge from the staff supporting people to update records and ensure all information was captured. Staff and managers understood their duty to safeguard people from abuse and protect them from harm. Staff had been trained to recognise and report the signs of abuse.
