Regulations met

Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. Comments included, “We’ve been going to the Dental and Cosmetic Clinic for many years now, and the care has always been genuine and reassuring. Our dentist takes time to talk things through in a calm, straightforward way, and that approach has made a big difference for my kids. They feel completely comfortable there, and they’ve never been afraid of dental visits, which means a lot to me as a parent. The whole team adds to that positive experience. The receptionists are always warm and organised, and it’s clear they really pay attention to patients. The hygienist and other staff are consistently gentle, respectful, and easy to interact with, which means a lot to me. It’s a practice that has looked after our family well, and we continue to appreciate the care they provide.”

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey which indicated a high level of satisfaction with the care and treatment received.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
