During a routine inspection
Everyone said they were treated with courtesy and respect, and felt confident they received good care and treatment. People told us that options, benefits and risks for different treatments had been explained in detail. We found that the clinic had audited people's records, to check whether people's oral health risks had been appropriately assessed.
People said they found the environment was clean and they had no concerns about infection control risks. The practice had achieved the essential standards for decontamination, and we saw that decontamination and infection control procedures met essential standards. Staff had completed training in a range of courses relevant to their roles, including infection control, first aid and resuscitation, and maintained their skills through continuing professional development.
