Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. Comments included, “Pain free treatment, very friendly staff and very helpful advice on home dental hygiene”, “Treated with care and respect. Explained the treatment well. Checked for pain and discomfort regularly. Explained what to do if I had problems with the filling in the future.” Also, “Welcoming, friendly, always on time, always explain what they are doing, great with adults and children, explain pricing options clearly.” “Feels really happy place I now have no fear going through the door.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey which indicated a very high level of satisfaction with care and treatment received at Lincoln Smile Centre.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles. The provider and leadership team demonstrated a commitment to promoting and maintaining staff welfare and wellbeing. Regular social events were arranged, training subscriptions paid for and different forms of recognition were given for long service, positive feedback received and other achievements.
