Kindness, compassion and dignity
Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.
Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. We were told by one patient, “Out of 100, I would give them 110%.”
Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion. Comments included, “Absolutely incredible team, friendly, informative and so kind.”
Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.
Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.
We were provided with a patient survey. Patient comments and responses, online comments and feedback we reviewed provided a wholly positive level of satisfaction with the care and treatment received at the practice. Comments included, “A great service and very helpful.”
People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
