Kindness, compassion and dignity
The practice encouraged feedback and suggestions from staff and patients and used these to make improvements. For example, a water machine was introduced following requests from patients.
We reviewed patient feedback from a range of sources, including online reviews, patient questionnaires and feedback shared directly with the practice. Overall, this provided a positive view of the dental team and the care provided.
The practice promoted a patient-centred approach to care.
Staff understood the importance of respecting patients’ privacy, dignity and individual needs and were able to explain how they supported patients to make informed choices about their treatment options.
Staff described a positive team culture and working environment, with supportive relationships between colleagues and a shared commitment to providing good patient care. Staff also recognised and appreciated each other’s contributions through a team member recognition scheme.
