Our view of the service
We carried out a hybrid inspection on 4 June 2026. The inspector visited the practice, and the dental adviser joined the inspection remotely via a video call. Prior to our visit we undertook a detailed review of the practice audits, service and maintenance records and other relevant documents not checked onsite. The dental adviser was present remotely when we visually inspected the premises.
We found the practice had met regulations.
The practice had effective systems to identify and manage risks, including infection prevention and control.
Staff had the skills, knowledge and experience to carry out their roles.
Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement.
Staff provided care and treatment in line with current guidance. They treated patients with dignity and respect and ensured access to care, support, and treatment when required.
We found improvement should be made to maintain consistency when completing patient care records and clinical audits.
Revive Dental Practice is part of Rodericks Dental Partners, a dental group provider. The practice is in Chaddesden, Derby and provides NHS and private dental care and treatment for adults and children.
The practice was located on the first floor of a multi-use community healthy living facility. There was step-free access to the practice and car parking spaces available, including dedicated parking for disabled people, at the practice.
The practice had 3 treatment rooms. At the time of our inspection, there was a total of 10 staff. We gathered feedback from staff and spoke to a range of staff during our inspection, including 2 dentists, 2 dental nurses, reception staff and the practice manager. The team was supported during the inspection by a group compliance manager.
