Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity and showed compassion.

We were told; “I used to worry about visiting the dentist but not since I joined this practice,I feel valued and confident that I am receiving the best dental care and treatment from experienced competent practitioners, who are always so warm and friendly and genuinely care about me as a person ensuring I receive the best dental support.”

Patients said staff were professional, courteous and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to all patients.

We were provided with a patient survey, which showed positive results.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles and their wellbeing was supported.
