Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Staff treated patients with kindness, respect and compassion. We observed positive interactions between staff and patients both in person and on the telephone. Staff displayed an understanding of patients’ needs and showed warmth and compassion to patients.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. One patient told us, “The treatment I have received has been exceptional, and I have complete confidence in their expertise. The clinic is welcoming, spotless, and creates a calm environment that makes every visit a positive experience. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this practice highly enough to anyone looking for first-class dental care. Thank you to the entire team for your continued professionalism, kindness, and excellent service.”

Patient comments included that staff were welcoming and attentive, acted with integrity, and showed compassion.

Patients said staff were professional, courteous, and considerate.

Patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were provided with a patient survey. Patients were sent a survey following each appointment at the practice. We were told that questions could be tailored to focus on certain areas such as reception, treatment or staff. All results seen recorded positive responses.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported. A member of staff told us, “I feel respected by my colleagues and managers, and my contributions are recognised and appreciated. I also feel well supported in my day-to-day role, especially by my manager who makes work a joy.”
