We obtained feedback from 15 patients.

Patient feedback provided a positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice.

Patients responded positively that they were able to access an appointment when they needed one, and that staff were professional, courteous, and considerate. Responses also told us that patients felt they were treated as individuals, and their personal and cultural needs were respected.

We were shown the systems in place to obtain patient feedback. This included online reviews as well as surveys sent to patients following each appointment. We were provided with the latest patient feedback from the previous 3 months. Feedback comments included, “friendly”, “helpful” and “put me at ease”. Staff told us that feedback was shared with the team and always acted on. For example, as a result of feedback the practice implemented a ‘sensory box’ with selected resources to aid in meeting the needs of its patients.

People received care from staff who were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights, and of the importance of privacy and confidentiality.

Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles, and their wellbeing was supported.
