We found this practice was providing well-led care in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance.

At the inspection on 29 July 2026, we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation:

A fire risk assessment had been carried out in January 2026, and all actions had been completed.

All remedial actions which arose from an unsatisfactory Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) had been completed and the report was now satisfactory.

A sharps risk assessment had been completed and was now reflective of the process in the practice.

The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) folder contained all risk assessments and safety data sheets where required. Further improvements could be made to ensure all risk assessments were thoroughly completed.

Evidence of immunity to Hepatitis B was present for most staff members. Further improvements should be made to ensure this was present for all staff members.

The practice had appropriate oversight to ensure that staff training, including continuing professional development (CPD), was up-to-date and reviewed at the required intervals.

NHS and private prescription pads were kept securely, and a new system was in place to track their usage. However, further improvements were required to ensure the practice would be able to identify if a prescription was missing. Following this feedback, we were told that further improvements would be made.

The practice had also made further improvements:

A new gas boiler had been installed and hot and cold water was available.

Clutter had been removed from treatment rooms.

Historical paper clinical records, which previously had not been stored securely, had been disposed of appropriately.
