We found this practice was providing well-led care in accordance with the relevant regulations and had taken into consideration appropriate guidance.

At the inspection on 1 July 2025 we found the practice had made the following improvements to comply with the regulation:

There were effective systems in place to ensure medical emergency equipment and medicines were available and had not exceeded their expiry date.

A fire safety risk assessment had been carried out by an external company and recommendations had been addressed. Systems were in place for the monitoring and recording of fire detection and suppression equipment.

Staff recruitment processes were in accordance with Schedule 3 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014.

The system to monitor and track staff training was effective and evidence of staff training was available to view.

Staff inductions were comprehensive, informed new staff about practice policies and provided suitable training when they started work so they could carry out their roles effectively.

At the time of our inspection staff appraisals were in progress.

The practice had also made further improvements:

Staff meetings were carried out monthly and minutes documented.

The practice had systems for appropriate and safe handling of medicines. Improvements had be made to the tracking system used to reduce the risk of prescription theft or misuse.
